I wasn't able to find any information about this artist. If you give me more infomation on this artist, I will add it to my description. I took the dust cover off on 3 sides to reveal the way the painting was put together and take better pictures. The outside of the dust cover has an oily thick feel to it, not like the regular brown paper backings. The sticker on the back reads: ACE PICTURE & FRAME COMPANY Specializing in Fine Pictures & Framing 2328 Lincoln Ave. CHICAGO. The style of the sticker leads me to beleive this was put together in the early 1900's. Frame size: Approx. 16 1/2" wide x 18 1/2" tall. Viewing size: Approx. 10 3/4" wide x 12" tall. Paint of wood frame a little worn. Painting is very good but the was glued or pasted to the backing. View my other auctions for more original art work.
